Prosperia is a cozy SMP that feels really friendly and calm. It is a survival server with a focus on a player economy so trading and shops are a big part of how people play. The community is described as welcoming and new players are supposed to feel right at home.

The world has custom terrain and structures so exploring does not feel like a normal vanilla world. There are land claims so you can protect your builds. The server also uses advanced enchantments and lets you disenchant too which makes gear a bit more interesting.

You can buy and sell items with an auction house and there are virtual spawners upgradable hoppers and auto crop planters to help with farms. The combat uses 1.8 style pvp for people who like that older feel.
