TrekCraft is a long running PvE server that has been around since 2014. It feels like a family server with a friendly community and staff that helps when things go wrong.
The server uses Towny so you can make towns and build without worrying about raiding or griefing. If something does happen staff can roll it back. Most pvp is friendly and agreed on with pvp mainly in arenas or towns that choose it. Resource worlds have pvp turned off.
There are lots of game enhancing plugins like McMMO Jobs quests chest shops player gui shops auctions and voting crates. You can also fight Mythic Mobs with custom bosses. There are treasure hunts and ArtMap for making custom artwork.
Events happen every week like trivia drop parties weekly activity contests and build and art competitions. The chat is family friendly so keep it clean. The world gets reset for 1.18 and the map expands for terrain updates with notable builds moved to a memory world so you can still visit them.

Everything like ranks perks and items are earned free in game so you are not dealing with paid power.
Griefing is not the vibe here because land claims let you protect your builds and even set flags like mob spawning and pvp. If something gets damaged it can be rolled back using block logging.
The economy is built around jobs an auction house and player to player selling. You can also make your own player shop.
There are upgraded spawners that can boost mob amounts and reduce spawn delay. Crates are free and keys come from voting so you can roll for strong armor and tools.
