This server is all about a giant colony ship called Nexara that is basically a city in space. Most of the roleplay happens on the ship and it keeps growing as players build more stuff and travel to different planets. The main gameplay is gathering resources on planets building up the ship and roleplaying with other players while the story moves forward.
The staff runs plots so there is always something happening. It is not just slice of life. Players get a lot of freedom to shape their own characters and stories and the lore keeps growing as people add to it. There are ways to make a lot of wild ideas happen which is really cool if you like story focused servers.
The community has people from all over like North America Asia Europe and Australia so you can usually find someone to play and roleplay with. They are very supportive of 2SLGBTQIA plus players and people from different backgrounds and want it to feel like a friendly safe space.
There is a short whitelist process before you get full access but staff and other players help you get settled. In the story you are a pioneer who was supposed to travel to a nice planet called Hestia and build a utopia there. You went into cryosleep and now you wake up to find most crewmates still asleep and the ship missing a lot of what was promised. No one really knows why yet so the mystery is part of the roleplay.

This server is all about geopolitics in Minecraft and it looks really cool. The whole idea is that players make nations and companies and try to control the world.
The server is modded with stuff like villager workers and recruits so you can build up your nation. It also has Mine Colonies so you can make big towns and run them like a real colony. There are small ships too so it feels like you can have real trade or navy fights.
There are over 50 mods so it is not just basic survival. You are supposed to get your friends and form a nation together. Then you make alliances or rivalries with other nations and try to dominate the world.
