Master Realm is a small modded SMP that feels really cozy and relaxed. It uses the Raspberry Flavoured modpack so the game still feels like normal Minecraft but with smart changes that make everything feel more interesting.

Oathwood is a long term towny survival server where the world is meant to last and not just reset all the time. It feels like a place where players actually live and keep playing instead of hopping from one map to the next.
The server is built around towns and nations. Players claim land so they can build real towns and not just random bases. There are player shops and a full player driven economy so trading actually matters and you can earn power through smart deals.

TownThrive is a Minecraft server that really cares about player interaction and towns. The whole idea is that players form towns and larger nations and then deal with each other using politics trade and sometimes war.
The rules are pretty simple. You cant use hacked clients xray or any external mods that give an unfair advantage. Stuff like minimap fullbright and schematica are allowed though. You also cant use alts in game or in the discord. Griefing and raiding are only allowed during war so random griefing is not ok.

Halcyon is a medieval style Lands PvP server that tries to feel like old school Minecraft but on the newest version. It was started by a postgraduate medievalist and it really focuses on immersion and survival.
The world is handmade and the rules make the game harder on purpose. Health only comes back when you use beds and you cannot just skip the night. There is no teleportation so you actually have to walk or ride everywhere. Because of that players make long roads waystations and even hidden underground railways.
Crops and saplings only grow in certain biomes. This makes trading super important. Different places get their own strengths and identity because not everyone can grow everything.
The server uses the Lands plugin so players can make their own factions and set up custom ranks and permissions. Success is more about bravery creativity and teamwork instead of using exploits and crazy automation.

This is a Jujutsu Kaisen style Minecraft server called Kokushin. The whole world is about sorcerers and curses and only the strongest really matter. Everything feels very hardcore and it uses a perma death system so if you die it actually means something.
You can try to be a lone wolf and master jujutsu by yourself and become super strong. Or you can look for power through other players and build an empire over jujutsu society. There are clans with rank systems but right now the server is only accepting rogues so you can not join a sorcerer clan. You have to be a rogue or join a rogue organization.
The server has wars and claims and rogues and different events. There are bounties and bosses. You can fight on a tower for really good rewards and fight bosses to get their skills. There are raids you can conquer and a lot of the gameplay connects to the lore.
The whole server is very lore based and not limited to only JJK even if that is the base of it. It feels like a serious world where your choices and your deaths actually matter and where power and story are a big deal.

I found this server called the World of Salvaris and it feels like a big storybook world.
The map is split into seven different continents because of a server side mod that changes how the terrain generates. Each season everyone focuses their builds on just one continent but you can still go explore all the others if you want.
The goal of the server is to make the world feel alive. Every player can add their own stories and builds so the world slowly fills up with different ideas. It is more about world building and storytelling and less about rushing.
They just started season 2 less than two weeks ago so everything is still pretty new. Season 2 also has some extra server side mods that give better quality of life and there is a Christmas themed event starting soon.

DungeonDelve is a server that is getting ready for a big RPG world and also has a Creative plot area and an SMP. Right now the main focus is getting Creative plots and the SMP ready so the server can open in a stable way.

Headrest SMP is a survival server that mixes chill community vibes with war and pvp.
