Draconis SMP is a survival server where everyone starts with 3 lives. If you lose them all you get banned. The only way back is if your team revives you and it costs valuable resources.
The server has custom mace rituals. You can get custom maces with special powers and crafting one will trigger a ritual.
If you hold the Ender Dragon Egg you get helpful potion effects. The server also has competitive PvP and server wide events. The staff is active and tries to keep things fair. Players can vote in polls that actually matter and the season is meant to be one full month of intense gameplay.

I found a modded SMP that two sisters are building together and it feels like it is made for people who want a real community.
