RoyaltyMC is a modern Skyblock network that is made for long term progression and a real grind. It aims to stay fair with no pay to win vibes and it says your progress will matter without constant wipes.
The server has the core Skyblock stuff like islands and a long term economy. Keep inventory is on outside PvP zones so losing everything is not the whole game.
There is a lot of custom progression too like procedurally generated dungeons with custom mobs and bosses. You can work toward custom weapons tools and armor plus unique enchants and an MMO style skills system using AuraSkills.
Economy features include an auction house and player trading for items money and XP. There are vote rewards and crate keys plus player vaults and minions to automate boring tasks. It also has collectors for mobs farming and chunks.
Endgame has a PvP arena and multiple KOTH events with custom boss spawns and risk vs reward gameplay. There is an AFK reward zone and chat games for money skills and collectors. Staff is active with anti grief protection and during beta you can report bugs or suggest ideas to earn store credit or rewards. Beta launches February 10th.

This server is a classic prison style world that feels like the old days before everything got super overpowered. You start with basic tools and leather armor and you actually have to grind to rank up. It is all about mining smelting selling and taking big risks in pvp areas to make money.
The ranks go from A all the way to Parolee and then Citizen. When you hit the top rank you can prestige for special rewards. There are guards watching the prison and they protect new players and enforce contraband rules. Swords and potions are illegal and if a guard sees you with them they will fight you.
You can rent a prison cell or a prison plot to store stuff build or make your own shop. There are also special custom plants that are illegal in the prison. You can grow them in your cell for profit but you have to hide them from guards. There is custom fishing quests for extra cash or items and an auction house for trading.
The grind is pretty tough because you have to smelt your ores and then walk through pvp zones to reach the commissary to sell them. No instant sell here. There is solitary confinement that guards can use for bad behavior and there are bounties if you want to hunt enemies. There are parkour challenges spread through the prison too.
