I found a 16+ Minecraft roleplay server called Aelythera. It is built for people who want a fresh RP experience and want to meet new players and their characters. The staff says they have lots of events planned and they want everyone to feel included.
The story starts in a normal place called Koriam with different regions and cultures and some steampunk tech. A long time ago people vanished with no clues and now it is happening again. Your character gets taken too and dropped into a new world with magic and ruins from an old civilization.
A big part of this server is discovery. You work out your new powers and figure out your new home. You can research the world or try to rebuild the technology you lost but it sounds hard and tools are not easy either. There are ancient secrets to uncover and you can chase what happened to the people who built the ruins.
The staff team says they come from a bunch of other Minecraft roleplay servers and they want this one to be memorable. They also say they listen to suggestions including lore ideas from the community.
