I found a Minecraft server that mixes Towny with classic survival so it feels different but still easy to understand.
You can build a town and grow it with other players. The economy is based on emeralds and you can get them by trading with villagers. There are player shops too so it turns into a real trading game.
You can level up skills and explore the world while you play. New players can get started fast since you can rent homes farms and other spots using /e homes forrent.
The server also says it is strict about not being pay to win so it stays fair and balanced for everyone.
