ArcticMC is a new survival server that started just a couple days ago. It feels chill and atmospheric and the community is meant to be relaxed so you can just play without nonstop chaos.
The main idea is Towny mixed with factions. You can build up a town claim land make alliances or try to take territory and start fights. PVP matters here but they use an honor system and it is explained in their rules.
It also has McMMO skills so you level up as you play and unlock special abilities over time. The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks more realistic with big mountains and valleys.
They also have custom items and furniture and it is entity based so they plan to limit it per chunk to help with lag. If you like building grinding or just hanging out this server is trying to be that kind of home.
