ArcticMC is a new survival server that started a couple days ago. It is a Towny factions kind of SMP so you can build a town and claim land then make alliances or fight for territory.
PVP matters here but it is not just random chaos. They have an honor system for fights and it is explained in their Discord rules.
It also has McMMO so you can level up skills while you play and unlock abilities as you get stronger. There are custom items too and they even have furniture that is entity based so they plan limits per chunk to help with lag.
The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks more realistic with big mountains and valleys. The server vibe is calm and friendly and more atmospheric so it feels like a place to hang out and build or grind.
