    I found BeagleSMP and it is a modded survival server that still tries to feel like normal Minecraft. The mods are picked to make stuff more interesting without turning the game into something totally different.

    The community is described as tight knit and welcoming and it sounds like they want all kinds of players. Builders PVP players redstone people grinders and anyone who likes lore and storytelling can fit in. You can also just hang out.

    They just started Season 2 so it is a brand new world with new mods and new lore. Resets are said to be rare and only happen to refresh the server so your builds are meant to last.

    This season is fantasy themed and the lore is about dragons and monsters. With Ice and Fire you can find fight and even tame dragons. You can roleplay as a monarch a warrior or a tavernkeep and do your own thing while exploring monsters plus custom structures and dungeons.

    This server is trying really hard to be a pure vanilla survival world and also a home for redstone nerds. The owner switched the whole thing to Fabric so a bunch of redstone players could join and they really loved it at first.

    When more and more people joined it started to lag a lot. With around 30 players online the tps dropped super low and the game got almost unplayable. The owner is using a strong dedicated pc so that made it even more shocking.

    Now the server kind of shows why so many big servers use paper for performance. But the community is still open to ideas and they want people to join and see what it is like. Anyone can hop in and check out the survival world and the redstone stuff and also talk about what could make it better.

    The vibe is friendly and a bit chaotic. People are learning what works and what does not and they just want to play Minecraft together even when the lag hits.

    Twigland SMP is a towny survival server where the whole world is built around towns nations and stories.

    Players claim land and build towns then group up into nations and make alliances or rivalries. Wars can happen and there is pvp but there is also grief protection and a trusted staff team so people do not ruin each others stuff.

    The server has MCMMO so you can level up skills. There is a survival style economy where players use shops to trade and get rich over time.

    There are some really good builders and redstone players here. People work on huge builds and crazy redstone contraptions so the world looks alive and busy.

    The owner is a streamer and the server feels very friendly and relaxed. It is 420 friendly and has quality of life features and regular events so it stays fun.

    Staff spots are open for players who want to help run the server and shape how the community grows.

    Terrashift is a whitelisted vanilla style SMP that is all about collaboration and community. It feels kind of like a Hermitcraft type server where people like to build together and hang out.

    The server runs close to vanilla but has a few datapacks like home teleport player heads more mob heads colored names armor statues fast leaf decay and wandering trades. There are also some server side mods like Carpet player bots for afk farming simple voice chat and Master Cutter. You do not need any mods on your own game to join.

    The rules are simple so everyone can feel welcome. No griefing no stealing no pvp unless everyone says yes first no being rude to others and no hacking like xray fly or other unfair mods. The community votes on changes datapacks and mods so players get a say in how the server grows.

    There are around 30 active members right now. Some people work on giant redstone contraptions and some just build a chill little house and relax. If you like friendly survival and want to join a server that actually cares about community this server fits that kind of vibe.
