I found this survival server called LoungeSMP and it is running a big event that feels like a showdown. You do quests to earn points and then you unlock real rewards as you go like elytras in game money maces and more.
You can play solo or you can team up and your teammates can help with tasks too. It is meant to be fun and competitive at the same time.
Random mini events pop up during the event and everyone online can compete. Stuff like most pig damage or most XP in 90 seconds and other random challenges. You can try to set records and win extra rewards.
They said the server just started so if you join now you are not behind.
