Cobble and Commons is a community focused survival server that feels built for people who want to stay for a long time. The world is all about towns and shared projects and you can claim land and grow organized settlements using the Lands plugin.
The server has a deep progression system called AuraSkills. You level up things like mining farming and fighting and get passive powers and stat boosts as you play more. There is also an overhauled rank system with two different rank paths so you can pick the style that fits you. Ranks use build requirements so you always have clear goals and something new to work on.
Building is a big part of the server. There is tons of custom furniture and cosmetics so your base and character can actually look different from vanilla Minecraft. The player market is fully driven by players and you can set up your own shopkeeper stall and trade with others instead of a server shop.
The server runs seasonal events. Right now there is a winter event with Christmas themed tools pets and cosmetics that are only available for a limited time. The next big event is boat races with custom tracks leaderboards and high tier prizes.
Overall it feels like a friendly SMP that pushes you to build towns trade with others and slowly grow stronger over time instead of rushing through the game.
