    You can found a town and pick how it is governed. There are five government types and each one changes stuff like upkeep land claims and expansion. Some are cheaper but force voting and some let you control more but cost more.

    Elections use ranked choice voting so it is not just a simple one and done vote. Your vote weight depends on things like how long you lived there how much gold you put in the treasury and if you have been active recently. There is also a cap so one person cannot own the whole town.

    Every town has a tension score and if it gets too high bad things start happening. Impeachment petitions can spawn residents can defect and towns can try to break away from their nation. You cannot just take power and go AFK.

    There is siege warfare too with scheduled weekend battle sessions. If a nation wins they can plunder and occupy the town and collect a big part of the daily resource production. The server runs on Java 1.21.6+ and it is running on Folia.
