The world is over 4 years old so it has a lot of history and player builds. Spawn is totally griefed and you start in a maze made from lavacasts. Once you escape you can explore and make your own base.
It feels lawless at times but the staff still keeps things fair. Cheaters get banned and they care about keeping the server running smooth. You can play solo or team up and run into people when you least expect it.
