This is a small modded Minecraft server with around ten active people. They play on a modpack called Ciscos Dragonfyre and they added a few extra mods to help with the server economy.
Some quests are tweaked so things feel more spicy and not boring. The server likes new ideas and they seem really open to people who want to build stuff together or just hang out.

Ballistic SMP is a Minecraft Java server that is all about PvP and intense combat. The whole server is built around fighting other players and using skill and timing instead of just broken gear.
There are four mythic weapons and one mythic armor set on the server. Each one is tied to an Elemental Guardian like Air Water Fire and Death. These items are rare and strong and you have to earn them through quests events and combat challenges.
The server has clear rules about no griefing and no stealing. Your base and your progress are protected so fights stay fair and the world does not turn into total chaos.
The world has a 3000 by 3000 border so players are never too far apart. This makes encounters happen more often and base locations really matter.
There are lots of events like sudden airdrops that cause battles lore events that tell more of the Guardian story and special events where players compete for mythic gear pieces.
Overall Ballistic SMP feels like a small intense world with deep lore where PvP and story are both really important.

This is a skyblock server where your island basically never resets and you can just keep growing it bigger and bigger as you play. It feels like a long term world that you can really invest in.
The server has custom cave systems that are actually multi level so you can go deeper and deeper. Ores regenerate so mining does not feel dead and there are custom mobs and bosses to fight underground which makes the caves feel dangerous and fun.
There is also a big fishing system with over 100 unique and textured fish you can catch and collect. On top of that there are a lot of fishing mobs to fight so fishing is not just standing still.
The server has hundreds of quests so you always have something to work on and it gives a nice progression feeling. You can play to compete for seasonal payouts or just play casually since both play styles are supported.
It is profile based so if you get bored of your island you can start a new one and then switch back any time. They are also looking for staff so if you join early and show dedication you can apply.
The server runs on version 1.21.10 and season 2 starts on November 1 so it is a fresh time to join and see who climbs the leaderboards first.

This is a small Cisco DragonFyre server that feels like a chill group of friends hanging out and learning the modpack together. The owners are starting fresh and want around 6 to 8 relaxed players. You can join solo or bring a friend and everyone gets put into duos.
Each duo makes their own base and does their own thing. There is no griefing allowed and players are expected to use FTB team chunk claims to keep stuff safe. The whole idea is to progress through the mod, do quests, explore and just mess around without everything being super serious.
PvP is always on so you can fight outside of events but the rule is to not be a jerk about it. Sometimes there will be organized PvP events with rewards and maybe some light betting to make it more exciting. Skill level does not matter. New players and cracked players are both welcome as long as they stay respectful and chill.
The vibe is relaxed friendly and fun. The owners want to build a small community of people who enjoy modpacks and are open to talking about new mods or even swapping modpacks later if everyone gets bored.

This is a Cobblemon server that is trying to fix how empty and boring other servers feel. It is called Cobblemon Eterna and it is being built as a huge long term project.
The world has real Kanto and Johto that are hand built instead of random generation. There are RPG style quests with NPCs and lore so it feels like a story instead of just wandering around.
There is also a custom ranked PvP system called the Zenith League. It uses Elo and divisions and has weekly champions so battles actually matter and you can grind for a real spot on the ladder.
Right now the server is still in development but they want people to join early. You can be an early founder get sneak peeks of the map and vote on features so you can help shape the server before it fully launches.

Billionaire City is a new Minecraft city and economy roleplay server that is trying to change how you play. It feels like living in a big city instead of just a normal world.
You can deal with property like apartments houses and even big companies. There are unique player jobs that are based on minigames so you are not stuck with one job forever. There are job events too so work does not feel boring.
The server has fun crime stuff like blowing up ATMs or searching trash bins for valuable items. Crime is balanced with a full money laundering system so it is not just chaos.
There are vehicles and public transport so you can move around the city. There is also a lot of custom furniture everywhere so places feel detailed and alive.

Shinobicraft is a modded Naruto style SMP that runs on Minecraft 1.12.2. The owner got tired of pay to win Naruto PvP servers and spent months making this world instead.
On this server you can visit all five ninja villages and play with factions. You use AHZNBs Naruto Minecraft mod to unlock and use jutsu. There are custom bosses like two different Itachi fights plus Jiraiya Zabuza and Haku.

Avalon RPG is a Minecraft server that feels like a real MMORPG inside the normal survival world. You play as a guardian who has to defend Avalon from a great evil and you can either go solo or build up your own kingdom with other players.
The server has seven different classes like warrior mage rogue paladin summoner cleric and marksman. There are six story chapters with over two hundred quests and tons of npcs so there is always something to do. You can fight through dungeons and raid bosses and there are daily loot drops so boss fights actually feel rewarding.
