ForgeStone SMP is a modded Stoneblock 4 world where everyone starts underground and builds out from nothing. The whole server is about automation questing and making giant bases deep below the surface.
The server runs on dedicated hardware so it is made to handle big late game factories and crazy contraptions. It is meant for players who like to grind through quests and set up big systems instead of just rushing and leaving.
There is no whitelist and no application. You just join and start digging right away. You can play solo if you want or you can team up with other players and build together.
The staff keep bans on items to a minimum so people can actually play the pack how it was designed. They also say they plan to stay online for the long term so progress should be safe.
The community hangs out on Discord where people show off builds trade resources and help each other with quests and modded problems.

Arcanie is a big Minecraft MMORPG project that comes from a group that has been making lore together for like eight years. Now they decided to turn all that story into a full server so the world is not rushed and they want it to feel really ambitious and detailed.

Billionaire City is a Minecraft city and economy roleplay server that is trying to change how people play. It feels like a big modern city world where money and progress actually matter.
You can manage different kinds of property like apartments houses and big companies. The way jobs work is different because they are not permanent and they are based on minigames and special job events so it does not feel boring or stuck.
There is a crime side too. You can do things like blow up ATMs or search trash bins for valuables and there is a balanced crime system with money laundering so it feels risky but not totally crazy.
The server also has vehicles and a public transport system so moving around the city is a big part of the gameplay. There is a ton of custom furniture everywhere that makes the city feel more real and detailed.

This is a Cobblemon SMP that feels like a chill pokemon world inside Minecraft. The owner hosts it on a dedicated server PC and wants around 20 to 30 players online so it does not feel empty and not too crowded.
The server runs Cobbleverse with extra addons. There is Megashowdown stuff with megas and dynamax and even fusions. There are legendary monuments that work like questlines for legendary and mythical pokemon. There are radical trainers with gyms and leagues that go with your legendary quest progress.
There is a GTS that works like a player shop when you type a command. You can also get attacked by a super strong skitty so it is not always safe. There are announcements when rare pokemon spawn so you do not miss them. The server has proximity voice chat so talking feels more natural and funny.
The server is totally free and has no real money shop. To progress you actually play the game. To earn cosmetics or special pokemon you join events. It is a premium server so cracked launchers are not allowed.

This server is called Shadows of Aethro and it is a modded world.
The main thing here is building up a colony and pushing progression way further than a normal SMP. It uses MineColonies and also custom mods made by Aethro so there are special events and extra stuff that you do not see on regular servers.
It is meant for players who want a bigger long term world and like slowly growing a base into a whole town. Since everyone is starting on day one it feels fair and fresh and you can grow with the server instead of joining late.

This is a Naruto themed modded SMP that is all about the Rinnegan and crazy jutsus. It is built by a small group of friends who really like Naruto and want the server to feel like a long adventure instead of a quick game.

This server is called The Most Complete Bedrock Experience or TMCBE and it is built around a bunch of cool Bedrock addons.
When I joined I saw addons like Actions and Stuff Better on Bedrock Core Craft Realistic Biomes Essentials and Common Sense all running together. It feels like normal Minecraft but with way more things to do.
Better on Bedrock makes the game feel upgraded and even has an end update. Core Craft adds new dimensions bosses and quests so there is always some big challenge to go after. Realistic Biomes makes the world look and feel different kind of like shaders but without using real shaders.
Essentials gives you useful stuff like tree capacitor and vein miner so chopping trees and mining is faster and less annoying. Common Sense adds things that feel like they should already be in the game so the gameplay feels smoother and less dumb.
To get in you have to be whitelisted by adding Oliver on Facebook. Once you are in you can just hang out explore new dimensions fight bosses and chill with other players who like modded style Bedrock without it being super complicated.

This server is building a big city called Jothon and that part is already done.

This server is called Avatar World and it is all about bending and nations. You pick an element and then you get put into a nation with other players and real leaders. Each nation has special styles like Blue Fire for the Fire Lord and LavaFlow for the Earth King or Queen.
There is an Avatar system where the Avatar goes in a cycle from air to water to earth to fire. When the Avatar is low on health the Avatar State comes on by itself. If the Avatar dies in that state then the Avatar gets taken away and the cycle moves on.
You can earn scrolls from mobs chests and trial chambers. Those scrolls unlock elemental moves like Flight and Bloodbending and other custom abilities. It feels like you are actually a bender using different skills instead of just normal Minecraft.
The world has big events too. During Sozins Comet firebenders get really strong. During a full moon waterbenders get stronger and their abilities get better. During a solar eclipse firebenders are super weak. So fights and wars feel different depending on the sky.
The server has custom terrain in the overworld nether and end. There are custom enchantments and quests plus a balanced economy with an auction house to trade stuff with other players.
It runs on Bedrock from version 1.8 up to the latest 1.21 so a lot of players can join and play together.

This server is called Minescape and it feels like someone turned Minecraft into an MMO. When you play here you focus on skills quests and combat instead of just regular survival.
There is a big focus on progression and a player driven economy. Stuff is not super easy on purpose. Combat and leveling are harder than normal Minecraft so it feels more like an MMO that you stick with for a long time instead of a quick game.
You have to use a custom client mod to join. The client adds special UI and mechanics and it helps stop cheating and abuse. The server actually needs it for the custom content so you cannot play without it. The mod is downloaded from their site and a lot of players already use it.
