The Pen is a classic prison server that feels like the older grindy style where you start with basic tools and leather armor and you work your way up. The server leans into roleplay with Guards who help new players and also enforce contraband. Swords and potions are illegal and if a Guard catches you holding them they will fight you. If you act up you can even get sent to solitary confinement.
Ranking up goes from A through H then Parolee then Citizen. Once you hit the top you can prestige for special rewards. There are quests for extra cash or special items plus custom fishing and parkour challenges around the prison.
