Realm of Thrones is a crossplay SMP where players build nations and try to become the top empire. It feels like a mix of civilization building and PvP so you can grow strong then go conquer if you want to fight.
You build a kingdom and level it up over time. Peaceful nations can still matter because trading and alliances help you take down enemies.
There is a progression system with in game money and play time. As you rank up you gain more access and prestige.
It also has configurable tech parts so players can make factories and turn into a big industry power. There are lots of quality of life changes plus stuff to do like fishing for legendary catches crates a server shop player made shops jobs you can level and McMMO too.
They also just added around 25 quests and it is still being tested. More updates are planned so it is meant to keep evolving.

EchelonMC is a fully custom survival server made for long term building and teamwork. It is not a place for PvP stealing or griefing so it feels way more chill and focused on making a real community.
It runs on Minecraft Java 1.21.11 and older versions are supported too. The server is hosted in Canada and it has been in active development for about a month with frequent patches and changes based on what players say.
I saw a bunch of custom systems like auto pathing that makes paths form under you and gives speed bonuses if you use them. There is also an in game currency called Echelites you earn by playing and spend on progression and useful quality of life stuff.
Land claiming is a big deal here with visual borders and per chunk settings plus protections like TNT fire spread raids and fluids. You can also publish public chunks so people can visit your builds and you can earn rewards from visitors and climb build rankings.
There are teams with custom nametags and shared utilities. Deaths make timed graves for your items and there is also /back to help you recover after teleports. It also has voting rewards Discord linking with a chat bridge a spawn hub with custom NPCs and anti x ray protection.

GlowSMP is a newly released Vanilla plus SMP for people who want to build grind or just chill. It runs on 1.21 to 1.21.10 and it supports both Java and Bedrock. Claims are enabled so you do not have to stress about griefing.
It has a lot of quality of life stuff like voice chat and messages better harvesting chest sorting a gradient tool graves and a live map. Fishing is a big thing here too with lots of new fish you can catch and sell plus tracking and a leaderboard.
There are 11 special enchantment books that help with building and gathering like chopping a whole tree at once and haste for mining. Jobs are set up so you do not pick only a few since you earn experience and money from most actions and you can see who does what the most on the leaderboards.
There is also a centralized storage network that feels like modded storage where you place a terminal in your base and connect your chests to search and store items easier. The server is fully free to play and everything is obtainable for everyone. Vote ranks exist and there is a shop if you want convenience but it is not required.

The Garden is a Java 1.21.11 survival multiplayer server that leans hard into worldbuilding adventure and roleplay. It has a bunch of plugins that add flavor but it still feels like survival.
The main thing is the life system. You start with 3 lives and you only lose lives through PvP. If you lose them all you turn into a ghost and only you will really know what happens after that.
Some vanilla stuff is turned off to fit the roleplay better. Elytra and ender chests are disabled so people actually build roads and towns and real infrastructure.
Players can lock chests using trial keys and you can craft lockpicks to break in. You can also make chest shops and brew alcohol and beers. There are lots of quality of life features too.
When you join you wake up above the clouds then you stick the landing to start. You can descend the Monolith then pick a race like Human Halfling Orc Elf and more. After that you wake up on the docks of Isla De Viva Eterna and sail out to find new land or settle with others. The server is meant to be relaxed with optional challenges and it says there is no pay to win with active staff and mods.
