This server is called Summit Survival and it feels like old school Minecraft. It was started in 2020 when the owner and their friends just wanted normal survival without tons of confusing plugins.
The world is hard difficulty and mostly vanilla. There are a few simple commands like spawn sethome and skipping the night but not a lot of extra stuff. You can explore and build without land claims so it feels open and shared.
The economy is based on raw gold. Players use it for trading and for a player run shopping district. The hardware is good so mob rates feel normal and the view distance is high with no random building limits.
The community is small and pretty relaxed. Staff do not hover over everyone. They only step in when someone cheats or griefs. There is also an active Discord where people hang out and talk in voice chat a lot.
The rules are mostly about being fair and respectful. No hacking or x ray. Only client mods that do not mess with packets or balance. Do not modify other players builds or entities and always ask before changing someone else’s stuff. Keep a decent distance between bases. Big duplication glitches are not allowed but small single item dupes like rails or string are ok. Hate speech and chat that calls for real life violence is not allowed.
It feels like a place for people who just want a simple survival world to play together for a long time.
