Luminary Falls is a long term Minecraft survival server that feels really cozy and relaxed. It is made for adults only and the community is friendly and feels pretty mature. People play from all around the world so there is usually someone online no matter what time it is.
The server runs Java and lets Bedrock players join too so friends on different platforms can still play together. It uses some quality of life plugins and datapacks that make the game smoother but still feel like normal Minecraft. There is no pay to win stuff or unfair boosts.
They use separate resource worlds so the main world does not have to reset. That means your base and big projects can last for years which is awesome if you like building or mega projects. The staff team has a lot of experience and they try to keep the place uplifting and very welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
You have to get whitelisted to join and you need to be 18 or older. Common client mods like performance mods and building helpers are allowed as long as they do not give you an advantage. The server usually sees a bunch of different players each week and you can find people who like building exploring farming redstone or just hanging out and doing events.
Overall it feels like a calm SMP where you can settle down build your own story and know that the world will still be there months from now.
