Heritage SMP is a vanilla plus style modded server where everyone uses the Origins mod so every player feels different and special. It is survival multiplayer and the world is meant to last a long time so you can actually build history and not just throwaway bases.
The server runs on Fabric and uses Origins Simple Voice Chat and some simple quality of life mods. With proximity voice chat talking to people feels way more natural and makes random interactions and roleplay moments happen all the time.
Roleplay is encouraged but not forced. You can make nations towns or guilds or just wander as a traveler. Your Origin can change how you play and how your character acts in the world. You can go light roleplay or get really deep into it if you want.
Rules are pretty simple. No griefing unless there is a roleplay reason. No cheating or exploits. Respect other players and their roleplay and do not abuse your Origin powers. The server tries to be fair with no pay to win and balanced gameplay.
Overall it feels like a community server where both solo players and groups can join make stories and let their actions become part of the server history.
