HermitiaSMP is a small survival server that feels like a tight group of friends. It is inspired by Hermitcraft and it plays like a vanilla plus world with some extra features.
The server runs weekly events that keep things from getting boring. These can be in game events or real life stuff or even art competitions. There is also a special Christmas island event right now so the whole place feels super festive.
Players can use optional proximity voice chat to talk in game if they want. There are event houses and community builds where you join a house and earn points for it. The server uses a custom HermitiaSMP datapack and some quality of life mods that add unique features without turning it into a crazy modpack.
They use anti grief plugins like CoreProtect so your builds stay safe. There is even a little news service and something called server royalty plus lore that is coming soon.
Overall the server is about community and shared events and just having fun together in a survival world.
