You can join on almost any Java version from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10. The server recommends 1.21.10 so things do not break. There is a huge world border that goes out to 2 million blocks so you can travel super far and hide your base.
The server does not reset the map and there is no teleporting and no pay to win at all. Griefing and PvP are fully allowed so you have to be careful who you trust. The only extra command is spawn so players far away can get back to other people. Nether roof access is allowed and phantoms are turned off and only half the players need to sleep to skip the night.
