Origin SMP is a survival server on version 1.21 that works on Java and Bedrock. It feels like a serious world where people actually care about what happens and the story keeps going.
The big thing is the Tier system for PvP. If you kill other players you gain Tiers and if you die you lose them so fights have real stakes. There is also proximity voice chat so you can talk to people when you are near them which makes trading and threats way more intense.
It runs semi anarchy with no land claims so trust and politics matter a lot. The world is a finite 2500 by 2500 blocks so you will run into people often. Anarchy is allowed but random griefing with no purpose can get rolled back to protect the long term SMP stories.
