REGNUM is a long term Java 1.21.11 survival world where the map does not reset and players can pick their own path. It feels like vanilla SMP but with a medieval sandbox vibe where people build castles and set up lordships.
The main idea is minimal laws and maximum consequences. Staff only steps in for the important lines so most problems get handled by players through politics deals alliances or straight up PvP.

You get 5 deaths total and then you are banned forever. Every time you die you also lose 2 hearts so it gets harder and harder to stay alive.
There are basically no rules and there is no land claiming and no teleporting. You can raid and grief and fight if you want or you can try to hide and only trust yourself.
It also works with voice chat so it can be good for making stories and friendships or just total betrayal.

CheeseSMP is a brand new survival server that tries to feel like more than just basic survival. It has custom enchants and armor sets so you can build your gear and get stronger over time.

This server is a hardcore style economy SMP where every player only gets 5 lives. When you join you start with 5 total lives and every time you die you lose one. If you hit 0 lives you get a temporary ban so every fight and every move feels way more serious.
The cool thing is you slowly gain lives back. Each week you get 1 life added so you are not totally doomed forever. It still makes you think a lot before going into battles raids or risky spots.
The server is built around an economy style. PvP is always on and shops and trading actually matter. Progress is something you earn by grinding and playing smart not something that is handed to you. Clutches traps and good strategies can win you fights and help you survive longer.
It is cross platform too. Java players join normally and Bedrock players can connect through Geyser. Everyone plays together in the same world so friends on different devices can still be on the same SMP.
