United Lands is a Towny Earth SMP where players build nations on a 1 to 500 scale map of the real world. It feels like a mix of survival building and politics where people fight wars or make alliances and shape big empires.
There are seven different jobs you can level up and they have skill trees so you can progress in your own way. If you grind enough you can unlock powerful Masterwork Armor and cool upgrades like more sethomes or even flying inside your town. You can join an existing town or nation or you can try to start your own and see if you can survive.
The economy is fully run by players. There are no admin shops. Instead people use player warps to make their own stores. Some shops focus on selling tons of items while others have the best prices so you have to explore and decide where to spend your money or become a shop owner yourself.
The server also has custom gear and a bunch of custom items including new foods like avocados and mac and cheese which is pretty funny to see in Minecraft. There is a big focus on fair play because the server store only sells cosmetic stuff and sponsorships do not give any gameplay advantages. Everyone has the same chance to get strong as long as they play.

Everbloom SMP is a survival server that has two different worlds so you can pick how you want to play.
The standard SMP world is for players who like more intense survival. Farming is fully supported and redstone is allowed. You can even go on the nether roof. PvP and raiding are turned on so you always have to watch your back. The world has a 75k border and the server aims to stay lag free and stable.
The casual SMP world is way more relaxed. It is made for chill builders and explorers and anyone who just wants peaceful survival. There are custom terrains and structures but it still feels close to vanilla. PvP is off and there is no griefing and no raiding at all. You can just build and farm and create stuff with friendly players.
The community vibe is relaxed and wholesome and it focuses on creativity and cooperation. The server is crossplay so both Java and Bedrock players can join and play together.

Vanilla Demon is a new survival server where players just want to relax and play Minecraft together. It feels like normal vanilla but with a few helpful commands so you can get around easier and still keep that classic survival feeling.
The server has land claims so you can keep your base and items safe from other players. There is a huge world border with tons of space to explore and find a spot that feels like home. You can build big projects or just wander and mine if you want.

This is a cracked SMP that is totally fresh. The world is brand new and has not really started yet so everyone gets to begin at the same time.
The server is vanilla and the version is 1.21.11. There are only a small amount of rules so it feels simple and not super strict.
The seasons are pretty short. Every week they open the end on the weekend so people can fight there and do late game stuff.
There are no qol mods right now. They might add some later if players really want them and vote for it.
It feels like a place for people who just want basic survival and weekly end fights without a ton of extra stuff.

This is a hardcore SMP where every life matters a lot. You only get one life on the whole server. If you die you are banned and there are no second chances at all.
It is semi anarchy so PvP is allowed and raiding and griefing are allowed too. People can form alliances and then betray each other. You have to be really careful who you trust.
Staff does not jump in to protect you. They do not fix wars or fights or politics. Players control what happens on the server.
The world border is huge so there is a lot of room to explore and hide. People can make secret bases or try to build long term empires if they can stay alive.

MinecraftOffline is a survival server that feels pretty intense because it uses a lifesteal system. When you kill other players you gain hearts and when you die you lose hearts. If you lose all your hearts you get banned so every fight matters a lot. New players get one hour where they will not lose hearts so you can get used to the server before it gets serious.
The server has simple quality of life commands like sethome and home so you can save your base and teleport back. There is also a tpa system so you can request to teleport to other players and accept them.
PvP is a big deal here. There is a plugin that blocks commands while you are in combat and if you combat log it spawns a killable NPC that drops your stuff. There is also a plugin that tries to stop extreme speed cheats so fights stay more fair.
Chat is protected from crazy spam and there is a vote skip night command so players can work together to pass the night. The server tracks playtime kills and deaths and gives rewards at certain milestones.

This is a server that tries to be real vanilla survival with no shortcuts. There are no land claims and no teleport commands like tpa or home. You just play straight survival and walk or fly everywhere.
The world has been running since April 1st 2019 and the overworld has never been wiped. That means there is a lot of history and old builds to explore. You can find bases ruins and random projects from years of players.
Pvp and griefing are allowed so you have to be careful who you trust. There are no protected zones and no safe claims so your stuff is only as safe as your location and defenses. It feels risky but also exciting.
The server uses proximity voice chat if you install the Simple Voice Chat mod. It is optional but it makes it easier to talk and meet people around you.
The performance is kept stable and the anticheat is made to be simple and not annoying. It is there to stop cheaters without ruining the normal vanilla gameplay.

I found this server called Anarchy Network and it is a semi anarchy world that feels really close to vanilla. It started on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time so you can join whenever.
The server lets you play pure survival with almost no rules. Griefing is allowed and pvp is allowed so you always have to watch your back. There are no map resets so whatever you build can stay there as long as the world exists.
You can join on Java from version 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 but they say that 1.21.10 is the best so things do not break. The world border is huge at two million blocks so there is a lot of land to explore and hide in.
There are almost no commands. There is no teleporting and no pay to win shop. The only non vanilla thing you can do is use spawn so people that went really far out do not get stuck alone forever. They also let you use the nether roof and they removed phantoms and only half the players need to sleep to skip night.
The rules are pretty simple. You cannot use exploits or dupes. You cannot make lag machines or spam and you are not allowed to harass people or use racial slurs in chat. Other than that the server really just lets players do what they want.

UneasyVanilla is a semi anarchy server that still feels mostly like normal Minecraft. It is a vanilla style survival world with some rules but also a lot of freedom.
