ArcticMC is a new survival server that started just a couple days ago. It is an SMP with Towny and factions so you can build a town make allies or fight for land.
PVP matters here but it is not just random chaos. They use an honor system and it is explained in their Discord rules.
It also has McMMO skills so you can level up as you play and unlock abilities over time. There are custom items too and they even have furniture. The furniture is entity based so they plan a per chunk limit to help with lag.
The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks big and realistic with mountains and valleys. The vibe is calm and friendly so you can build explore grind or just hang out.
