This is a server called Ascend SMP and it is all about simple survival.

Misted Lands is a new Minecraft roleplay server that is just starting up and the team is small but really into the project. The world is dark and cursed and the lore is a big part of how the server feels.
The story is about Anya who was a kind healer that people turned on and called a witch. She was killed by zealots and her father Yosif was broken and blamed everyone. His grief brought a huge magical wall that sealed the land and made the dead rise again. Now zombies skeletons huge spiders and other nightmare things attack over and over. Daytime is a short break and night is super dangerous and the survivors are stuck inside this barrier.
The server uses RPG mechanics like classes and leveling so your character can grow over time. There are also quality of life mods to help with transport sorting maps crafting recipes farming and building so the game feels smoother to play.
This is a roleplay server where you can talk in character or as yourself. You can use a voice chat mod or just type in normal chat. You do not have to stay in character all the time so it is more relaxed but still focused on story.

Realm of Aureus is a long term SMP style server that wants to feel like a home instead of a quick realm. It mixes normal open world survival with a heavy RPG vibe so it feels like you are in a story while you build your base and explore.
The server has a lot of custom content. There are unique bosses and dungeons you can fight through and you can use the terrain and boss weaknesses to win. There are over 500 custom items armors tools skills enchantments creatures and NPCs that are all made by the server team.
The world has a border that grows by 1000 blocks every Age so there is always new land to explore and build on. Your builds are protected by an easy territory system and you can ally with other players and form towns and even bigger nations.

This is a survival server that feels like an MMO with towns dungeons and bosses.
You can join a town or just run off into the survival world and build your own home. There is a random teleporter so it is easy to find fresh land. You can protect your base and stuff by yourself using a menu so you do not have to remember a ton of commands.
The server has custom mobs and three world bosses. The bosses drop special items like speed gear extra health shields and collectible chat tags. There is also a big Labyrinth dungeon if you want harder fights and better rewards.

This server is a modded Pixelmon world that runs on 1.16.5 which is known as a very stable Pixelmon version. It has been around since 2014 so it feels like a place that has been cared for for a long time.

Ordinary SMP is a vanilla style Java server that feels like a small group of friends hanging out. It is whitelisted so the players are actually there to play and have fun and not just troll.
The server is on version 1.21.10 and stays up to date with the newest features. It is survival but still has some protections so your builds stay safe from griefers.
