I found a simple Minecraft SMP that is trying to feel like the old days. It keeps things clean with no spam and no annoying extra features and no required resource packs.
The community is active and they are looking for more people to hang out and play. There are constant events like parkour and spleef and PvP and PvE and pillars of fortune and build events.
It also has a player economy and a server economy plus jobs so you can grind and trade. You can set player warps and use claims so builds stay safe and griefing is not allowed. Anti xray and anti cheat are on. There is also a Bedrock port if you play that way.
