QuackCraft SMP is a hermitcraft like semi vanilla survival server that is open to join and not whitelisted. It tries to feel as close to a vanilla SMP as you can get while still being public.
It has a community shopping district and a friendly community so you can build and trade with other players. PVP is optional so you can keep it chill or fight when you want.
They also run fun community events. The server supports both Java and Bedrock and it runs on version 1.21.11 with backwards compatibility.

MinedHype is a friendly long term public survival server that has been run by the same owner for about 6 years. It started back in 1.14 and it has had over 19300 unique players join.
It is mostly vanilla survival on Minecraft 1.21.11. There is no whitelist and there is no pay to win. There is also no economy or money plugin so trading is done with player run shops using items.
The server uses claims for grief protection and CoreProtect is there to help protect the server too. Grief is allowed if an area is not claimed so you still need to be smart about where you build.
The Overworld and Nether are long term and will never reset. There is no set world border and you spawn randomly within the first 40k blocks.
