I found a laid back modded Minecraft Java server run by two friends who want more players that are 18+. It sounds like a small group with around 7 to 8 regular people so it feels more like a real friend group than a big public place.
The whole vibe is chill and not competitive. People mostly go on adventures together and build stuff while talking to relax.
They use Discord and also have proximity voice chat so you can run into someone while exploring and just talk like it is normal. The main idea is enjoying the journey and discovering things together and making a world that feels lived in.
