This is a straight up vanilla style survival server where everything feels like the normal game. There are no land claims and no teleport commands so you actually have to travel and explore on your own.
The world has been running since April 1st 2019 and the overworld has never been wiped. That means there is a ton of history and old bases and stuff to find. It really feels like a forever world that people keep building on.
PvP and griefing are allowed so nothing is totally safe. You have to hide your base or defend it yourself. There are no factions or big economy systems and no special currency. It is just survival Minecraft the way the game was meant to be played.
The server uses proximity voice chat if you install the Simple Voice Chat mod so you can talk to players who are close to you in game. The server is optimized so it runs stable and it also has anticheat that tries to stay out of your way but still stops cheaters.

This is a 1.21.10 survival SMP for players who are 17 or older. It is for people who like a calm small server where you can just play and relax and not rush everything.
The server is mostly vanilla but it has some quality of life stuff. Everyone gets their own loot from chests so you do not lose out if someone was there first. There is instant tree chopping so you do not have to punch trees forever. When you die a chest spawns with your items and it does not expire. There is also a web map so you can see the world from your browser.
You can turn pvp on or off so you only fight when you actually want to. You can combine your elytra with your chestplate so you do not have to swap gear all the time. There are mini blocks so you can decorate and make builds look cooler.
Java players can use Simple Voice Chat which is proximity voice chat in game. Bedrock players can still talk with Java players through discord voice channels. It feels more social than only typing.
The community wants to be tight knit and welcoming. They are looking for people who will be active and enjoy building whatever they want and taking their time. You need to apply through their discord to get on the server.

Banana Sandwich SMP Season 3 just started and it already feels really alive. The world is fresh and most of it is still unexplored so you do not feel behind at all.
Everyone begins on a huge mushroom island that works like a safe hub. People are building first bases and opening early shops and the server feels like a Hermitcraft style world with a diamond based economy.
This is a Vanilla plus survival server for adults only so it is made for players who want to chill and build and hang out. There is no pay to win stuff so progress is fair and community driven.
Proximity voice chat is required so you actually talk to people instead of sitting in silence. It makes mining building and shopping feel way more social.

Dominion SMP is a survival server that is built to be a forever world and not a seasonal reset map. The idea is that players can build bases and megabases and they will stay for years instead of getting wiped.

This server feels like a big friend group that decided to make their own world. It is made by the players for the players and you can tell. People hang out and talk a lot and it is all about playing together and having fun.
