WhimsyWillow is a small community server that is running Season 3 and this time it is modded. The mods were picked by the community so it feels like a group project where everyone gets a say.
There is a lot to explore with tons of biomes and extra structures. Progression also feels bigger because there are more ores plus new tools and weapons to work toward.
The Create mod is a big deal here so people can build machines and contraptions as long as it stays reasonable. There is also a live world map so you can look at the world and see what is going on.
Spawn is kept nice and there is a shop district with player run shops that can sell whatever they want. The server also tries to run events to keep things active and they always want more suggestions to keep it balanced fair and fun.
It is whitelist based and you apply with a short application.
