    The server is semi vanilla but you actually have to work for your items. You cannot just build crazy auto farms and let the game play itself. A lot of easy automation is disabled so players have to play for real and earn their gear.

    The community feels small and chill and they are clearly still growing and looking for new players who like survival and realism. They also have a contest going on right now where people can redesign their logo and banner. The prize is 125 dollars if your design wins.

    If you want a survival style server where you grind and do not get free stuff this server seems pretty good.

    It feels like the kind of server where you always have something new to try and where you and your friends can just mess around with machines and adventure for hours

    Cozy Terrafirmacraft Modded SMP

    This server is a Terrafirmacraft modded SMP that is made to feel slow and cozy. The owner built it because they did not like how normal vanilla and create SMPs let people rush tech alone and ignore each other.

    Here the progression is way slower. You explore a lot and your builds take real time and effort. You only get three lives and there is a revive system plus proximity chat so people actually talk and play together. It aims for a Hermitcraft style world but with mods and more player interaction.

    The server uses mods like Immersive Engineering and VS2 plus some KubeJS recipes to keep the pacing comfortable. There are visual upgrades and Terrafirmacraft addons and everything is set up to work well with TFC.

    You can treat this server like a chill comfort world or be an explorer or a trader or even try to be a ruler. The main goal is fun and people playing together instead of speedrunning ahead alone.

    Legends of Stonehaven is a medieval fantasy RPG server that is built around a big modpack. It feels like a full RPG game inside Minecraft.

    Combat is a lot more advanced here. There are new animations and a dodge mechanic so fights feel really active. There is an in depth skill tree and origins so your character can grow in different ways and feel strong in a unique style.

    The server has custom weapons armor trinkets bosses origins and divine blessings that are balanced for this specific pack. Enemies get stronger the farther you explore so the world stays dangerous and interesting.

    Magic is a big part of the server. There are two main magic mods that give you a ton of utility both in and out of combat. The overworld the nether and the end all have overhauled biome generation so everything matches the fantasy adventure vibe.

    There are hundreds of new dungeons and structures to find plus five new dimensions to discover. You can follow over two hundred quests that you can do alone or with friends and some of them tell story and lore about the world. You can also use a quest shop to spend your coins on useful items.

    The pack tries to stay smooth to play. A lot of mods are added only to help fps and load times. There are also quality of life things like backpacks and better storage so playing for a long time feels easier and more chill.

    AlkalineCraft is a bedrock prison server that is built to be simple and fair. It has 108 custom enchants so you can grind and upgrade a lot without getting bored.

    You get unlimited plots but they are price based so you work for them instead of being hard capped. The server is not pay to win and every rank can be earned in game. Ranks come from crates and you earn those crates just by mining and playing.

    Most stuff is done with NPCs so you do not have to learn a bunch of weird commands. The core commands are just spawn wild and pvp. The wild world is made for progression and there are loot chests that help newer players get started.

    The economy is balanced around long term play and there are seasonal resets so everyone gets a fair shot each season. The systems stay pretty simple on purpose so new players do not feel overwhelmed.

    The owner is also working on a factions gamemode and bedwars and they change things based on player feedback instead of locking everything behind money. It feels like a server that wants to grow slowly and not reset every few weeks for no reason.

    VitaNova is a new semi vanilla SMP that just opened and it feels really fresh. The world is custom and still mostly untouched so there is a lot of room to explore and build your own area.

    The server has a bunch of plugins that make normal survival more fun. There is a fishing plugin with custom fish and different rarities and there are fishing tournaments so you can compete against other players. There is also a lands plugin so you can claim land and keep your builds and loot safe.

    You can make money by using jobs and selling things in the auction house so there is an economy where you can earn and spend. There are also crates that are pretty easy to get so you can get some extra boosts while you play.

    The community is growing and the server is trying to be a place where everyone feels welcome. It runs on version 1.21 and it is built around people working together building up the world and just enjoying Minecraft survival.

    For the launch they are giving free items from a calendar command until the end of January so you can get a little head start when you join.

    BudderCraft Tower Defense Challenge

    This server has a really cool tower defense mode that feels like other TD games but inside Minecraft. The whole goal is simple. Do not let the monsters reach the exit.

    You can pick between 5 different classes and use 15 unique towers. Some towers shoot fast some do splash damage some burn mobs some slow them and some even farm for you. Each tower has lots of upgrades but you only get 9 upgrade points so you have to think hard about what to pick.

    There are 25 custom preset waves. The rounds are the same every time so you can plan a strategy instead of hoping for lucky RNG. You also get 7 target options so you can control how each tower chooses its targets.

    The maps are 3D and have real obstacles like trees and cliffs. These can block your tower attacks so placement matters a lot. Towers do not block each other though so you can stack them close if you want.

    You can play different difficulties from super easy beginner to expert where even the owner has not beaten most maps yet. If you win you can turn on an optional freeplay mode where waves keep ramping up and try to push you to the limit.

    The tower defense mode is pretty new but it already feels like the main focus of the server and they have more plans for it later.
