Legends of Stonehaven is a new medieval fantasy RPG server that feels like a big adventure world. It is built around a huge modpack with revamped combat and it feels really smooth with cool animations and even a dodge move.
You get an in depth skill tree and special origins so your character can feel different from other people. There are custom weapons armor trinkets bosses and divine style blessings that are balanced for this pack. Enemies get stronger the farther you go so exploring actually feels risky and fun.
The world generation is changed a lot in the overworld nether and end so everything looks more fantasy themed. There are hundreds of dungeons and structures plus five extra dimensions you can find. There are also two main magic mods that let you do a lot both in and out of combat.
The server has over two hundred quests you can do alone or with friends and some of them add lore and story about the world. There is a quest shop where you can spend coins you earn on useful items. There are also quality of life things like backpacks and better storage so playing feels nicer.
Performance is a big focus so they use mods to improve fps and loading. It is a whitelisted server so you have to join the community first before you can play.

Crafinity is a chill survival server where you can just hang out and play the newest update. It runs Minecraft 1.21.8 and lets both Java and Bedrock players join the same world.
The server is survival but also has some extra systems to keep things interesting. There are jobs and quests you can do to earn money. You can level up McMMO skills as you play so your character slowly gets stronger the more you mine fight and build.

FallenRealms is a survival economy server that was private for a long time and now it is finally open. It is made for players who want a long term world and a strong money system instead of a quick throwaway map.
The main idea is a player driven economy. There is an admin shop to keep prices stable but most trading is between players. You can make chest shops and also use an auction house to sell rare items fast. There is a custom fishing system that has unique rewards and it is not just normal fishing with better loot tables.
You can claim land and protect towns and bases. Claims can get really big so groups can plan future builds and expansions. There is automation but it is balanced. EchelonMC is a custom survival SMP that tries to not feel like every other server. It runs on modern versions and it is built with its own plugins instead of copy paste packs.
The main idea is simple survival but with extra systems. There is a custom currency you earn just by playing and you can spend it on progression and utilities. You can claim land with visual borders and set per chunk options like mob rules and protection against grief and TNT and fire and fluids.

Createverse SMP is a modded Java server that is all about the Create mod and a calm survival world. When I joined it felt like a fresh start because the world is still new and there is not a lot of progress yet.
The world has totally changed terrain in all three dimensions. There are tons of new vanilla style biomes and structures that you can explore. There are also a bunch of Create addons and some extra mods that make machines and adventure feel way more fun.
The server is semi building focused so griefing is not allowed. PvP is only allowed when both players agree so it stays fair and chill. It feels like the server is made for people who want a relaxing but adventurous playthrough where you decide what to do next.

WhimsyWillow SMP is a small Minecraft server that feels like a chill community world. It is on Season 3 and this time the world is fully modded. All the mods were picked by the community so it feels like everyone helped shape the server.

Cobble and Commons is a community focused survival server that feels built for people who want to stay for a long time. The world is all about towns and shared projects and you can claim land and grow organized settlements using the Lands plugin.
The server has a deep progression system called AuraSkills. You level up things like mining farming and fighting and get passive powers and stat boosts as you play more. This server is called Shadows of Aethro and it is a modded world.
