Minecraft is an independent sandbox video game written in Java, originally developed by creator Markus Alexej Persson (also renamed Notch / Krusher) and later by the Swedish company Mojang.
The game is focused on creativity and construction, allowing players to build, using a multitude of cubes, in a three-dimensional world.
