The server uses a claiming system meant to replace Towny. It uses menus and GUIs so claims and management feel way easier.
It also has an economy that changes with supply and demand. Prices move all the time and resources are not infinite so the market does not get stale.
The world is not just vanilla generation. It is made to look beautiful with big views and places you will want to explore and conquer.
Laurion tries to be deep but not scary. The staff and community are welcoming and there is documentation to help you learn the plugins fast.

Northwoods is a Towny SMP style server that is still early and looking for a small handful of players to help test gameplay and performance.
The world and your progress are not getting reset so what you build and earn will stick around.
It runs Towny with chat support plus stuff like levelled mobs shopkeepers simple jobs and a custom terrain generator. There is also Distant Horizons support and a custom CurseForge pack with Distant Horizons and a few client side mods.
