Eds Classic SMP is a PVE survival multiplayer server that is trying to grow a small community and get more players testing things out. Right now it is capped at 20 players and it can expand later.
The main Overworld Nether and End are meant to never reset so you can settle in and build big projects. There is land claiming with GriefPrevention and you can use sethome so your stuff stays safe.
There are also monthly resource worlds you can reach with rtp. These worlds reset monthly and they have boosted mining XP and hostile mob XP. They are set to Hard so it can get dangerous.
The server has a balanced economy with a shop plus an auction house. It also has private player to player trading. You can level skills with mcMMO and earn playtime ranks that unlock perks abilities and cosmetics without wrecking vanilla progression.
It also supports Bedrock cross play even though it is Java native. There is a live web map so you can watch the world in real time.

Smithtainment is a survival server that tries to keep that vanilla ish feel but still adds a lot of helpful stuff. The server runs on Hard mode so it can get intense when you are out exploring and mining.
There are jobs and a ranking system based on playtime so you keep unlocking more perks as you stick around. It also has a full economy with a balanced server shop plus player shops and an auction house and chest shops for trading.
The world has leveled mobs and there is a separate resource world for gathering. You also get useful commands like teleport and homes plus warps and cosmetics and tags.
When you die you get sent to a fairy and you can buy back the items you lost which makes deaths hurt less but still matter. Spawn is custom built and there is a PvP arena under it and villagers to talk to if you like story vibes.
