This is a fantasy and steampunk roleplay server called Spells Gears n Bells RP. It is built around magic and machines and it feels like a world full of strange tech and powerful spells.

Pentaxis SMP is a Minecraft server that is all about roleplay and story. Every player comes from a different dimension and somehow ends up in the overworld together. The dimension you come from decides your starting roleplay prompt and where you begin.
There are five admin made dimensions. One is a group of people focused on a huge shared plan. Another is a bunch of tribes trying to survive in a really harsh world. A third is an order that follows a higher being and a weird trinity of existence. Then there is a nomadic people who inherited a great empire. The last one is a strict and exclusive order that believes tradition can stop damnation.
The exact themes for each dimension are kept secret from normal players so you discover it as you go. You can choose to stay loyal to your home or totally betray it and make your own path. You can form alliances build up rivalries or just hang out and play chill.

This is a Fallout style Minecraft roleplay server set in the Colorado wasteland. The year is 2296 and you explore the ruins of central Colorado after nuclear war.
You can leave Vault 49 and head into the rural area. There are places like Hunters Creek Lenado Gulch and Williams Mountain. The main settlement called New Aspen is a big trade hub with its own police and a law system. They even have trials so it feels like a real wasteland town.
Caesars Legion used to move through the region toward Denver. Now they are broken into small cells and the wasteland feels wild and free again. You get to forge your own story on the old roads and try to make a name for yourself if you can stay alive.
The server has its own resource pack with custom models for guns pipboys and other stuff. You download it from their resource area and it makes the world feel more like Fallout.
Radiation is tracked using Minecraft experience levels. Some mobs and some zones give you xp and then you compare your xp level to a Radiation Card to see how many rads you have. There are also NPC shopkeepers for trading so you can gear up for the wasteland.
It feels like a serious roleplay server where you live in a Fallout world inside Minecraft and build a story with other players.

This server started pretty normal and people were joining and having fun. Then the owner put it on voting sites and everything went crazy. The tps dropped super low and chat was full of people freaking out.
It was not just lag from players. Someone built a huge lag machine that was so strong you needed render distance on 2 and it could still crash your game. The owner kept restarting the server but the lag came back every few minutes.
Then a player showed the owner where the lag machine was. It was so bad you could not even get close to it. So the owner decided to use world edit and removed a big area of chunks to save the world and the player progress instead of deleting the whole map.
This server is all about wild stuff happening and the owner trying to keep the world alive while players do crazy things. If you like survival with real danger from other players builds and huge lag machines this is the kind of place you hear stories about.

Ironbark SMP is an Australian survival server that is made to last and feel serious. It is a long term survival world where your choices matter and dying is actually a big deal.
The main thing is deathbans. When you die you get banned for an hour and every death makes that timer double. It resets every month so you get a fresh shot. Totems are disabled so you cannot just cheese your way out of danger.
There are graves so you can get your stuff back most of the time but if you die in lava or in the void you lose everything for real. PvP is only allowed when both players agree so no random killers jumping you.
The server loves pranks but they have to be reversible and the prankster has to clean it up. Bases are open to explore and look at but you are not allowed to steal. There is a player run chest shop economy so people can start their own shops.

UneasyVanilla is a super rough Minecraft server that feels like real survival with almost no rules except no hacking or cheating. There are no crazy plugins changing the game and you have to play the game the way the devs actually made it.
There is no teleport and no sethome so every trip and every base location really matters. You have to walk everywhere and explore for real. Griefing and raiding are allowed so you can lose your stuff if someone finds you.
There is no forced economy or protection so players make their own trades and their own rules. Some people build huge bases. Some people just roam around and raid. You never really know who you will run into in the wild.
