The Pen is a classic prison server that feels like the old days. It is not an OP prison so you actually have to grind for money and gear. You start with basic tools and leather armor and you work your way up through the ranks.
You mine and smelt your ores then walk through pvp zones to sell them in the commissary. There is no instasell so every trip is risky. Swords and potions are illegal and if guards see you with contraband they will fight you and can even send you to solitary confinement for bad conduct.
There are normal prison ranks from A up to H and then you can become a Parolee and finally a Citizen. After you hit the top rank you can prestige for special rewards.
