I found a community centered survival server that feels like a Hermitcraft style SMP. It is made by the players for the players and they try hard to keep the vanilla experience.
There is a diamond based economy with a shopping district. People also work on public builds and group projects and a lot of players use proximity chat.
You can use homes and there are some cosmetic and quality of life plugins too. New stuff gets added from community requests and polls.
It is Minecraft 1.21.11 on Java only. The server is whitelisted and it is 18 plus. They usually have around 5 to 20 people online and there are lots of regular players and groups that want new members.
