Nation States is a new crossplatform Minecraft server that uses the towny claim system. The whole idea is that players make nations and mess with politics and trade and war. It is made for people who like roleplay and lore and big conflicts between groups.
The server wants everyone to follow what they call the spirit of the server. That means you should be here to have fun roleplay and help build the story of the world. If someone just ruins the vibe or ignores that idea they can be removed so the overall experience stays good.
The theme is early antiquity so it feels like an ancient world. There is a custom map that is about 5k by 5k blocks so there is enough space for different nations to rise and fight and make alliances.
From what I can see this server is for people who like nation building diplomacy trading and fighting but still want a semi vanilla feel. Players are expected to interact a lot and not just hide in a box all day.

This is a modded Minecraft server that tries to feel kind of realistic with politics and industry and social stuff between players and nations.
Players can create nations groups citizens and even criminals and then deal with things like worldwide trade routes and player made value. There are real international style relations as groups trade make deals or go to war.
The server uses mods for interior decorating advanced industry security systems weapons vehicles and even drugs. Most modern ideas can be built in game so people can try complex modern setups.
Rules are pretty relaxed. Griefing is allowed if it has some purpose but griefing just to destroy for no reason is not allowed and staff decide what counts. You do not have to be nice so you can hunt other groups and fight as much as you want.
Groups do not need to be realistic. You can make a serious nation or just some weird group that farms one item all day. Right now there are players trying to make the most advanced nation they can and others planning to be nomadic drug traffickers.

Warbound SMP is a normal survival multiplayer server that looks like a regular vanilla world at first. You mine build and make farms just like usual. People mess with redstone and set up bases and it all feels pretty normal.
Then the armor trims change everything. Trims give you different abilities and traits so what you wear really matters. They are not enchants and it is not a giant plugin mess. It is just trims and each trim can change how you fight move or survive.
There are no classes and no skill trees and no giant modpack. The server keeps the pure SMP feeling where the world is vanilla style and players create the lore. Wars and alliances happen because of the people not because of forced systems.
Players can form their own groups and betray each other and builds actually matter because battles and stories happen around them. Your choices matter a lot and your armor can make the difference in a fight.

This is a big civilization style Minecraft event with room for 100 players. It is inspired by Ishs civilization events so it has that kind of organized and competitive vibe.
To join you have to go to their discord and submit an application. So it is not just randoms joining and leaving all the time. It feels more serious and more focused on people who actually want to play.

This server is all about survival actually meaning something. It is a hardcore SMP with only one life and it feels super intense.
If you die you are banned. There are no respawns and no second chances. Every fight and every cave trip feels scary because one mistake can end your run.
