I found this server called Anarchy Network and it is a semi anarchy Minecraft world that tries to feel like pure vanilla. It launched on October 11th 2024 and runs all the time.
You can join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and they say 1.21.10 is best so stuff does not break. The world border is massive and goes out to 2 million blocks so there is tons of space to run and hide.
There are no map resets and no teleport commands so you actually have to travel. There is no pay to win and griefing and pvp are totally allowed so bases are never really safe. The only special command is spawn so people way out can get back to other players. Nether roof travel is allowed and phantoms are turned off and only half the server has to sleep to skip the night.
They still have a few rules so it is not total chaos. You cannot use exploits or dupes or lag machines. You also cannot spam or use harassment or racial slurs in chat. So the server is wild but not totally toxic.
Overall it feels like a survival world where players control everything and staff just stop the super broken stuff.

This server is a pure vanilla anarchy style survival world with ocean spawn. When you join you start in the middle of the water so you have to swim or use a boat to find land and that already feels like an adventure.
The world is super old and was first made in 2011 so you can find really ancient terrain and ruins. There is also newer terrain but you have to explore a lot to reach it. It feels like walking through Minecraft history.
The server uses just a few quality of life datapacks like trigger home and trigger spawn. You can set up to 10 homes per player. Nothing else really changes the gameplay or the terrain so it still feels like real vanilla.
There is an in game chat bot that the owner has been coding for years. Players can use it for useful stuff like home tpa and spawn commands plus some fun commands too.
The rules are very simple. You have to treat other players with respect and you cannot try to crash the server on purpose. Besides that almost anything is allowed including griefing and hacked clients so the world can get pretty wild.

This server is called RefinedVanilla and it is a true vanilla anarchy world. There are basically no rules except you cannot use hacked clients. You can build bases destroy stuff explore far away and try weird experiments. It tries to stay exactly how Mojang made Minecraft so it feels like singleplayer but with other people.
The owner uses Fabric so the game keeps real vanilla mechanics. Redstone works like it should. TNT chains and piston machines act like singleplayer. Tick timings stay the same so technical players can make farms and machines without everything breaking.
The performance is tuned a lot. The server changes simulation distance mobcaps and render distance while people are online. This keeps it running smooth even when more players join.

Trixxel MC is a chill survival server that is all about long term progression and fair gameplay. It feels cozy but still has a lot to do so you can play casually or grind really hard if you want.

This is a wild anarchy server in Europe and the world is permanent. The owner says there are no resets ever so what you build or destroy actually stays.
It runs on strong hardware with a fast processor and nvme ssds and a lot of ram so it feels like it is made to stay up for a long time.

I found this server called 99b99t and it is a real anarchy style world. There are no rules and no limits so you can basically do whatever you want. The world is fresh and it feels like everyone is racing to leave their mark first.
The server runs on version 1.21.8 and it is set to hard difficulty. That makes surviving way tougher because mobs hit harder and you lose stuff fast if you mess up. Pvp is always on and griefing is clearly allowed since it is full anarchy.
They only use a few plugins. When you die your head can drop and there are just basic essential commands. It still feels mostly like normal Minecraft but more chaotic.
The server is online 24 7 so you can hop on pretty much any time. You can explore far away or stay near spawn and fight. You can build something cool or just blow everything up. It is totally up to you.
