The server started on October 11th 2024 and it runs all the time. You can join with almost any Java version from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 but they say 1.21.10 is best so you do not have issues.
The world is huge with a border at 2 million blocks so people can go really far out. There are no map resets and no teleporting at all and no pay to win stuff. Griefing and PvP are totally allowed so you always have to watch your back.
The only extra command they let you use is spawn so people who went really far away are not stuck alone forever. Nether roof travel is allowed and phantoms are turned off and only half the online players are needed to skip the night which makes survival less annoying.

This server feels like an old school vanilla world that never really stopped. The world started in 2011 so you can find really old terrain and ruins and then run into newer areas if you explore far enough. Spawn is in an ocean biome so you have to swim or use a boat just to even find land which makes the start feel like a little adventure.
The gameplay is mostly pure survival with just a few datapacks that make life easier. You can set homes with triggers and warp back to spawn and you can have up to 10 homes. This is an anarchy style Origins server where every player gets a totally different way to play. There are over 150 different Origins and nobody can pick the same one so your powers and your downsides are just yours. Some players might start in the nether and some can only live in the ocean so the server feels really random and fun.
