BeeSMP is an 18 plus semi vanilla SMP that is still getting set up but already feels like a cool project.
The whole idea is to make a long term survival server where players help decide what it becomes. People are joining early to share ideas for features rules and events and the staff actually want feedback.
The gameplay is semi vanilla with some light quality of life stuff planned and simple voice chat so talking with other players should be easier. It is a whitelisted server and they want a chill and mature community that likes to build and work together.

GildedAbyss is a new modded SMP that is all about the community and how players interact with the world. Season 1 has not started yet and the start time depends on how many people join so early players can help shape how the server feels.
The world has lots of different biomes to explore. There are more ores to find so progression feels more fun and there are new tools and weapons to craft. You can also get special items through certain ways that you have to figure out.
There are Ancestral Archetypes so you can pick a sub race in game and use its strengths. The Create mod is here too so you can build machines and contraptions as long as what you make is reasonable.

SpaceSMP is a survival server that is run from Australia and it is built for players who want a stable long term world. It feels close to vanilla and it focuses on community and fair play instead of pay to win stuff.
The server uses Fabric so the performance is better and the tps is stable. This means redstone players can make big machines and farms and the server can still run smooth for everyone.
You can check out the server world any time with a live map. The map lets you zoom around and see player bases and huge builds before you even join. The outer end islands are reset every six months so new players can still find end resources later on.

The world is mostly pure vanilla and the only extra thing is lifesteal. The owners are not even sure if lifesteal will stay and they want the players to help decide. The idea is that the community gets to shape how the server works as more people join.

This is a small PaperMC server on version 1.21.10 that is trying to use a custom resource pack.
The owner is testing how to make the pack download for players on multiplayer. The pack works in singleplayer but it fails to download on the server right now. They are also trying a resource pack plugin but it still does not apply.

This is a survival server that is running a short Season 0 to test stuff instead of pretending to be perfect from day one.
The owner is trying to see what actually keeps players interested for more than a few weeks. So the whole idea is to break things make stories and figure out what works long term.
They are using a custom plugin that changes how players interact and it is still being worked on. Player heads drop when you die so deaths feel more meaningful. There are backpacks but they are tuned so you still feel risk and you cannot just carry everything for free. There is also CoreProtect to stop griefing.
The world will fully reset after Season 0 so your progress does not carry over but your ideas and feedback do. It is meant for a small group around 20 to 30 Java players who actually want to help test instead of just rushing to fill slots.

This server is a feudal fantasy world with samurai and ninja roleplay mixed into an SMP style. It feels really chill and relaxed and you can just hop on and explore and fight.
The owner built the whole thing mostly alone over about a month just for fun. It has custom bosses and custom textures and a different kind of gameplay so it does not feel like a normal vanilla server. You can jump on and try the bosses and see how the world looks right now.
