Golden Nations is a harsh survival server where players build nations and fight over land. It is all about diplomacy war economy and just staying alive. It feels like a world where choices matter and progress is not handed to you.
The map starts at 5000 by 5000 and can expand as more people join. The server runs on 1.21.11 and you can join on other versions too because of the version support.
Travel is slower on purpose since there are no elytras. Villagers are also removed so you cannot spam easy trades. Crafting is harder with custom recipes and netherite has a strict 1 to 1 style so it stays rare.
Land claiming is used so nations can mark territory and set borders. Roads and rails matter since roads make you move faster and minecarts go much faster on powered rails.
There is a grindstone change that lets you pull enchantments off and turn them into books. Farming and fishing are also changed with new behavior and unique drops. You can even move spawners with Silk Touch. Maces are limited too with only ten on the whole server and each player can only craft one so they become a big deal.

This is a SurvivalPlus server that feels like survival but it is built for real progression and PvP. It also works on Java and Bedrock so more people can join together.
The big thing here is custom enchants with rarity tiers from common to legendary. They do more than damage and can hit you with stuff like slowness poison weakness wither knockback lifesteal and even temporary enchant disabling. Gear builds matter and fights have more counterplay.
There are dungeons and bosses too. You enter through portals at /dungeons then clear rooms and fight Elites for loot and materials. Minions can drop rare loot keys and crafting materials. Boss Totems can be used in the right rooms to spawn bosses and there are PvE and PvP dungeon options.
The economy is based on playing. You sell items and level up sell multipliers by type. Crops ores mob drops and spawners all give different ways to make money. You can use /shop for basics or trade with players in /ah.

The main survival SMP is a classic grind but you can also use player markets if you want. There are claims plus a map and stuff like clans and fishing contests. You can rank up for free just by playing and all perks are available for free.
