I found this server called The Coffee Pot SMP and it feels like someones cool home project that is finally ready for more people.
It is a Minecraft network with five different worlds. There is a main SMP world with an economy system land claiming and some quests so you can actually have stuff to work on. This server is called EVA SMP and it feels like a long term world where you are supposed to take your time and grow slowly. It is Java Edition 1.20.2 and you just join without extra downloads.
The server uses something called Economy Points. You use these along with allegiances and territory to get stronger and unlock stuff. As you play you can get custom armor and supernatural abilities instead of getting everything right away.

Davidscloud is a Minecraft server that has been around since version 1.7.10 and it really feels like it is here to stay. This is a small survival server that feels like a real group of friends instead of a giant random lobby. There are usually around ten people and everyone kind of knows each other so you do not feel like just a number.
The whole server is about community. At spawn there is a chest area where you can take what you need and leave extra stuff so new players can get started easier. People like to hang out build and talk.
