This server is called StarBorne and it feels like a big sci fi story in Minecraft. The idea is that Earth is ruined and the last survivors move to a new planet called Alpha Centauri. Now players have to rebuild civilization and make this new world feel like home.
The gameplay is survival style and it is an SMP with crossplay so more people can join. The world has really cool terrain that is made to still work for survival but also look different and inspiring. There is also custom music that plays so you feel more inside the sci fi theme when you explore.
You can make towns build your own base and look around for unique structures on the planet. There is also a giant mall called Arcadia that you can visit with a shop command. The server tries to be simple with some quality of life stuff so it is easy to just jump in and play.
Right now the server is in Chapter 1 called Alpha Centauri which is like the first season. When you join they give you the highest rank called Pioneer and you keep it forever because the server is still pretty new. It feels like the start of a big story where humanity gets a second chance.
