GlowSMP is a new Vanilla plus survival server that feels close to normal Minecraft but with a bunch of helpful extras.
You can join on both Java and Bedrock and the world is for players who like building grinding or just chilling. There are claims so you do not have to worry about griefing and you can focus on your base.
The server has a lot of quality of life features like voice chat better harvesting chest sorting graves and an online world map. There are also special enchantment books that help with stuff like chopping whole trees or mining faster.
Fishing is a pretty big thing too. There are lots of new fish you can catch and sell plus a way to track what you have caught and leaderboards for the best fishers.
There is a jobs system that gives you experience and money for most things you do instead of locking you into just a few jobs. You can see leaderboards so you know who plays which style the most.
One of the coolest features is a central storage network that feels like modded storage. You can make a terminal in your base and link chests to it so it is way easier to search and store items.
The server is fully free to play. Everything is obtainable in game for everyone. Vote ranks give extra rewards and commands and there is a shop for people who want shortcuts but it is not required at all.

PurpleSMP is a small survival server that was made for players who are tired of their world getting deleted after they put in a ton of time. The owner wants this to be a long term server so you can actually stick around and keep your builds.
The server uses mcMMO so you have skills that level up while you play. You get stronger the more you mine fight and explore which makes it feel like your character is always progressing.

Createverse SMP is a modded Java server that is all about the Create mod and a calm survival world. When I joined it felt like a fresh start because the world is still new and there is not a lot of progress yet.
The world has totally changed terrain in all three dimensions. There are tons of new vanilla style biomes and structures that you can explore. There are also a bunch of Create addons and some extra mods that make machines and adventure feel way more fun.
The server is semi building focused so griefing is not allowed. PvP is only allowed when both players agree so it stays fair and chill. It feels like the server is made for people who want a relaxing but adventurous playthrough where you decide what to do next.
There are useful tools like a minimap and a world map to help you explore. You can use claims and parties to protect your stuff and play with friends. There are multiple performance mods so it runs better plus waystones for fast travel and voice chat to talk in game.

This server is called uSurvive and it feels like Minecraft if it took a different path but still stayed like normal survival. It tries to keep the vanilla spirit while making multiplayer way more interesting.

This is a small SMP server where you can just relax and play Minecraft at your own pace. It is for both Java and Bedrock players on version 1.21.10 so friends on different devices can still play together.

This server is called Utopellite Echoes Eternity and it is a small friendly public SMP run by a few friends. It is open for anyone who wants a relaxed place to play.
The main thing I noticed is the claim system. You can protect your builds and your stuff from mobs and from other players. There is also a home system so you can always get back to your claim and not lose where you live.
The server has an economy with chest shops warps and jobs. You can earn money and set up your own shop. There are also crates that you can open with vote keys or by getting one of the five ranks on the server.

This is a creative citybuild server with a really big custom terrain world. The main idea is to join a long lasting community and build cool cities together.
You start by applying so they can keep griefers out. After the short app you can get world edit and other helpful commands. Then you just pick a spot on the map and begin your project.
There is optional geopolitical roleplay going on. Players make claims that show up on the map and they build towns and settlements with their own stories. If you do not like roleplay that is fine. You can just focus on building and still fit in.
The community feels tight knit and pretty chill. There are only a few laid back rules and people hang out and talk a lot. Staff and players are usually online to chat to give build advice and to team up on big projects. Sometimes they run events too.
If you want a place to do serious building and also maybe join some world lore and politics this server is made for that.
